HE WINTER CASE FOR BUILTMORE 1
Big groups in the Smokies usually split up for the holidays. Two cabins, two driveways, half the family texting the other half about dinner. Builtmore 1 keeps everyone together: one house, five levels and enough beds that nobody draws the short straw.

Cold weather is the point here, not the problem. The pool is indoors and heated, so a grey January afternoon is still a swim afternoon. After a day on the slopes at Ober Mountain, the hot tub and the fire pit are waiting, and the rooftop looks straight across at the ski slopes.

GOOD TO KNOW
The house sits high on the mountain and the drive up is steep, which is how you get the view. Plan your vehicle for a mountain road, especially in winter, and message us before arrival if you have questions about the climb. Fresh linens, towels and starter toiletries are provided; bring your own cooking oil and spices.

Ample free parking is available on-site for multiple vehicles, so groups arriving separately don't need to coordinate carpools. The driveway sits right at the house, so unloading luggage for a group this size stays simple. Bringing a trailer or oversized vehicle? Message us ahead and we'll help you plan where to park.

Check-in is 4:00 PM and checkout is 10:00 AM; early check-in may be available for a fee if the house is ready — just ask and we'll confirm the night before. Maximum occupancy is 22 registered guests, and dogs are welcome with prior approval. The indoor pool and hot tub do not have a gate or lock, so guests with young children or pets should supervise time around the water. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are installed throughout. All guests must submit a valid ID and sign our rental agreement before arrival. We're a message away with any questions.

For non-Airbnb reservations only, any applicable refunds will incur a 6% processing fee.
